Man No Be God- Elekwachi Champion Chukwudi

Now I know why people answer certain unusual names. Someone today was considering answering 'Man No Be God'. When I listened to his stories and gave them a thought, I also saw reasons with him. Though I discouraged him from publishing it, but the truth remains that MAN NO BE GOD!

Non is useless- Elekwachi

Elekwachi A lawyer needs a grammarian to explain the classes of words he utters in the court. Needs a tailor to sow his wig. Needs a driver to take him to court. Needs a doctor for medical reports. Even an engineer needs a labourer to execute his project. Needs a trader to buy materials. A pastor need members to preach to, workers to pay tithe to him. A banker needs customers to operate. Needs security for protection. The politician needs the masses to cast votes. needs civil servants for approvals. and many more.... Why do we esteem one course more than the other? seeing that we all need God's grace to excel in our different endeavours. Let me tell you now that Michael Jackson needs not to be a pastor before he wins souls, just as David Oyedepo needs not become a civil servant to make impacts. A business tycoon needs not a certificate to become the richest... And many more. TRY AND BE THE VERY BEST OF WHATEVER YOU CAN BE! ECJ Champion.

Persistence breaks resistance - Elekwachi Champion

Elekwachi Champion Most times when you try and fail; instead of retrying, you conclude that it's not God's will for you to succeed. Must you spiritualise everything? Sometimes, God allows us to fail so as to learn to be strong and persistent. But we lose courage so fast. There are however, issues God would not want us to even try but we must be very sure of His will for us lest we lay allegations and our blames on Him: thereby, despising His power therein; Ridiculing His name. Why men rubbish women- Elekwachi Champion

Image
You will notice that for many years now I have not discussed relationship in any of my presentations. Not because I don't know what to say but because I'm not in any one. I will not tell people what I don't practice because I like telling live stories and sharing personal experiences. The reason I'm writing this now is because of my great love and respect for the women folk. I regard the girl child so much to the point that whenever I enter/join any gathering/organisation and did not see them, I leave immediately. Those who know me can attest to the fact that I support and identify with any NGO/Project that concerns women. THIS IS BECAUSE I KNOW THE WORTH AND VALUE OF A WOMAN. Now, I have seen one of the reasons our men rubbish the women and that is the reason for this presentation. Men are very sensitive to know who really loves and identifies with them in their times of struggles and when they discover that you've come close to them because of the goo

Critical Point 1- Cultural Clash

Image
Culture Clash He (name and local government with-held) has basically completed the bridal rites of his wife only for the elders to start murmuring; happily whispering to themselves. In the midst of confusion the in-laws asked to know if the rites where either not complete or over given. In response, the elders told them that the newly wedded bride must have a carnal knowledge of one of the elders whose turn and right it is to have her. Over the years that has been a norm (though secretly) and no one complains, but theses ones are civilised and educated, hence, they both disagreed. The youths overpowered them and the old man had her way to the lady. 1. Now, the guy has refused to accept to accept her as his wife. 2. The elders have refused to pay back his dowry. 3. No other man will be allowed according to their culture to marry the lady except the original suitor whom the elders claim they've already paved a way for into the lady. 4. The government, culture and religio

PROOF OF MANHOOD?

Image
PROOF OF MANHOOD? BY PRINCESS FRANCISCA O. OBI PRINCESS FRANCISCA O After hearing a conversation between two men today in a Keke I boarded, I could not but ponder seriously. Not that I was eavesdropping oh. But you know how open Keke is, coupled with the fact that the men were talking loud in their local language which I  happen to know.  Probably they were thinking I am of another tribe, or possibly they don't even give a damn. Well which ever be the case, my mind picked the talk and for the kind of person I am, it became an object of consideration, deliberation and ministration . I hope it becomes a timely eye opener for someone somewhere who needs to run for his dear life and save his soul and destiny! What was the talk about? The young man was telling his friend how he happened to enter a brothel by mistake thinking it was just an ordinary beer palor, only to have a lady come around him and tried to grab him. In his description,  He ran outside the gate. I said to my

Three or more eggs a week increase heart disease and early death - study

Image
Eggs It’s been debated for years: Are eggs good or bad for you? People who eat an added three or four eggs a week or 300 milligrams of dietary cholesterol per day, have a higher risk of both heart disease and early death compared with those who eat fewer eggs, new research finds. “Eggs, specially the yolk, are a major source of dietary cholesterol,” wrote Victor Zhong, lead study author and a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. In a study published Friday in the medical journal JAMA, he and his colleagues noted that a single large egg contains about 186 milligrams of cholesterol. The researchers examined data from six US study groups including more than 29,000 people followed for 17½ years on average. Over the follow-up period, a total of 5,400 cardiovascular events occurred, including 1,302 fatal and nonfatal strokes, 1,897 incidents of fatal and nonfatal heart failure and 113 other hear

ALAS,I MISSED MY CLASS (4)

ALAS!  I MISSED MY CLASS (4). BY OBI PRINCESS FRANCISCA O. See, wether we like the truth or not, we can never hide the real content of a man.  you can do all the gingering and paparazzi, time will reveal your real identity. you can not escape the grooming of God if you want to stand out and be approved. You can't run away from the finishing touch of God if you must be approved and presented. You must be truly furnished to stand the test of time. Sure, it will cost you everything. You will pass through pain, loss, frustration, depression, isolation, rise and fall. But the end thereof is glorious. No pruning for the moment is pleasant but your yieldedness will bring you forth as gold. You may miss your class but you always have opportunity to returned to class even if it is going to be a carry over. Better than jumping a class to discover in your final year, that you can't graduate because you have been disqualified. No time is too late to go back to the class to learn f

ALAS, I MISSED MY CLASS (3). BY PRINCESS FRANCISCA O. www.facebook.com Now relating with the two different scenarios, one could see that consciously or unconsciously, one can fall into the trap of missing an important appointment  or becoming a victim of an unprecedented punishment due to either avoidable or an unavoidable course . This is exactly what life is all about!  The truth may be that we may not be able to completely avoid some unforeseen circumstances, disappointments or troubles. But we should never forget the law of sowing and reaping. As much as we have the right to make choices in life, we can to a great extent limit or even expound the gravity of situations that affects our lives and the outcome . The law of nature have a way of paying us back in our own coin, which is summarised in the adage that says "the evil men do, live with them" . What exactly are we saying? I have seen a generation of young careless people who don't learn from their father&#

ALAS, I MISSED MY CLASS! (2) BY OBI PRINCESS F.

Image
www.facebook.com The last time, we were talking about the loafers we met while in school then who usually miss classes. That was an extreme case because obviously everyone knows the outcome of that kind of life style. But the problem is that what could make people still venture into what they already know the consequence ? Is it that they think they can cheat principles of life like the one of  "what you sow you reap" or the one of "you can't eat your cake and have it"?  Or they think it doesn't matter?  Is it that they are ready to damn the consequences or they assume it never exists? Now let's talk about those good and diligent students who never misses classes but unfortunately one of those days when something happened that they couldn't avoid missing a class. Either because they travelled for an important thing but couldn't come back early enough for the lecture or may be a matter of ill health and it happened to be the course hand

ALAS, I MISSED MY CLASS! (1)

The cause of had I known is a result of a missed class! The tears of so many mistakes resulted from a missed class! I could remember those days in school when some Slay Queens would be busy slaying on parties and weekend trips to God knows where. you don't see them in classes except during exams. And in examination hall you see their scripts empty while they are busy looking side by side and stretching their necks like Giraffe trying to peep from their neighbours. What I ask myself those days is, do they even understand what they are copying? fine. Say they understand.  How sure are they that what they are copying is the correct answer to the particular questions asked? Seriously the thing baffles me. There is this particular girl I couldn't but take notice of. I had to call one of my class mates aside to ask her if the girl in question is our departmental girl not to talk of our level mate. This particular girl, you will never see her in class until the day of examination.
