ALAS, I MISSED MY CLASS! (2) BY OBI PRINCESS F.

The last time, we were talking about the loafers we met while in school then who usually miss classes. That was an extreme case because obviously everyone knows the outcome of that kind of life style. But the problem is that what could make people still venture into what they already know the consequence? Is it that they think they can cheat principles of life like the one of  "what you sow you reap" or the one of "you can't eat your cake and have it"?  Or they think it doesn't matter?  Is it that they are ready to damn the consequences or
they assume it never exists?

Now let's talk about those good and diligent students who never misses classes but unfortunately one of those days when something happened that they couldn't avoid missing a class. Either because they travelled for an important thing but couldn't come back early enough for the lecture or may be a matter of ill health and it happened to be the course handled by a tough lecturer that doesn't give in to reasoning. I remember rushing for a lecture from my village that day while mourning the sudden loss of my mum just to make sure I don't get unnecessary punished or miss an impromptu test as this particular lecturer was fund of. But guess what?  By the time I got to my lecture hall, the door was already locked from the inside! All plea and explanation fell on deaf ears. Some of us can relate.  Of course, I missed the lecture, I missed the attendant record and the Assignment which was strictly on attendant. And this affected my general score in the particular course. And this particular course was one of the important courses that served as a major factor in determining if I was going to the next level.
